Welcome Retreat for all St. James/St. Hubert & Our Lady of the Lake.  "Welcome"--as a cluster to be open to what God is calling you and others to do.  To know and be known by any and all others in our parishes.  As a follow up to the mission held in September at OLL, it gives us an opportunity to 'get out' and 'catch up' with other Christians and increase our works of mercy.  We are looking for a group of Men & Women to meet, experience fellowship with one another while preparing to share a story in our life that impacted our Faith Journey thus inspiring others in their Journey of Faith. Please prayerfully consider saying "YES".  Any questions or would like to participate, contact Mary Burns at msb6453@gmail.com or 407-595-7136.   More information about Welcome can be found at Dynamic Catholic at https://www.dynamiccatholic.com/

LANDINGS---Welcome Returning Catholics: This is an invitation to Catholics who have been away from the church and are considering returning.  St. Hubert Church at Higgins Lake together with St. James Church at Houghton Lake have a welcoming ministry called LANDINGS.  This is an opportunity for you to ask questions and become familiar with the Catholic Church today.  Attendance at these gatherings simple means you are interested (no commitment).  Please call Diane Quaal at 989-370-8622 for more information on meeting date, time and place.

Fundraising while you Shop! ---Shop with Scrip.  Support our local Catholic School--Our Lady of the Lake Regional --Prudenville MI.
Stop Selling & start earning!  Scrip fundraising is a no-selling program that allows families to raise money for their non-profit organization (NPO).  Scrip is just another way to pay for everyday purchases using gift cards in place of cash, checks & credit cards.
You purchase gift cards from your organization at face value, and your coordinator orders those cards from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a reduced price.  The difference is an instant rebate for your organization.  It's really that simple!  When you use scrip gift cards at your favorite retailers, you're fundraising while you shop.  Great Lakes Scrip Center offers more than 700 of the country's biggest retailers, including grocery, department stores, gas stations, restaurants, hotels, home improvement, and more.  Just by using scrip to pay for your normal weekly purchases, you can easily raise $500 or more per year.  It's time to put your shopping dollars to work!

We have SCRIP cards for lots of area retailers...  Walmart, Family Fare, Peebles, Shell, BP, Little Caesars Pizza and many more!  We will be selling them on our donut days.  The first Sunday of the month  at St Hubert and the last Sunday of the month at St James.  We will have a good selection to purchase on the spot--if we do not have the one you want, you pay when you order the card, then you will get it the following Sunday at mass.   If you have any questions, please contact Our Lady of the Lake Regional Catholic School Office; 989-366-5592.
